Ben Waldvogel Music
Local talent Ben Waldvogel will be returning to perform at Beechwood Grill July 27 and 28 from 5:30-9:30. Ben performed at Beechwood during the opening weekend and was a hit. Since then, Ben has been composing Jazz, ragtime, and boogie stylings from Tom McDermott, a famous New Orleans composer and pianist. Self-described boogie/Cuban/Caribbean blend,
Ben started his training at the age of 5 in his hometown of Zürich, Switzerland. In 2007, he moved to the United States, joined the Grand Rapids Ballet School, and eventually became a member of the Junior Company. Ben has had opportunities to study in multiple summer programs here as well as Houston Ballet and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. His mentors include Attila Mosolygo, Andrew Murphy, Claudio Muñoz, Alonzo King, and Keelan Whitmore.
